Special Call to Prayer this Sunday
This weeks lesson is titled: Jesus' Followers: True Witnesses or Wishful Thinkers? That is a very interesting question.
What are we? Witness or Wishful Thinkers?
What is a Witness?
What are the characteristics of a credible witness?
This weeks lesson text comes from Acts 1.4 - 8; 2.1 - 16
Who was Luke? Who was Theophilus?
Research these characters this week.
In addition to the lesson this week I believe we are being pressed into a time of special prayer before our lesson. If the Lord's leads so, we may not even be able to get to the lesson or complete it, but I believe we are to gather together for a special time of prayer for all the varied needs that have been circulated this week.
Adults with cancer, children with cancer, difficult family situations, deaths in families, especially those unexpected of late, job losses and layoffs in our church and community.
We will take the beginning of our classes to be transparent before each other to The Lord and lift our voices to Him for all of these many needs.
