Sunday School Class Homework for this week in addition to the lesson - Abraham

Great job this past week on your homework.  As it turns out, our class did pretty good on the correct chronolicigal order for our characters in the Old Testement.  We where only off one person.  Nehamiah was after Solomon.  So the correct order is below.

  1. Adam
  2. Abraham
  3. Moses
  4. Samuel
  5. Saul
  6. David
  7. Solomon
  8. Nehemiah
I hope you found it interesting so far.  As we discussed, we will take one person a week for review in class.  That gives you extra time to work on the other people and find more interesting unknown facts that "you" previously did not know.

Remember, use the bible and any other credible source for your research.

Tommy and I believe we should provide each week about 5 - 10 minute historical facts about these people.  When we complete exercise we may look at places, events or a variety of other topics.  Please remember, no items is too insignificant.  If you did not know it, chances are someone else doesn't know it, so bring your notes for our brief discussion each week prior to our planned regular lessons.

Adam was a tough one to start with because not much is written on him, but we still had some interesting ideas and thoughts.  Keep it up.  Don't be afraid to look at what other biblical characters might have said about them either.  Paul talked about Adam.  Think outside the box.

God Bless and Stay tuned for the lesson later this week.
